problems with Allotoca dugesii juniors

Hello people
Have problems with Allotoca dugesii.
after the birth, I specifically young in a separate pool.
But the young fish do not swim after 24 hours.
where can be the problem?
Water 20 degrees, KH15, GH16
Will slowly lower my water hardness 12KH.
Any more ideas?

Hi André,

hardness is not the problem. Sometimes, when a female is giving first fry, the offspring comes too early and fry doesn't seem to be well developed and therefore weak. But in general, young Allotoca dugesii stay for a longer period (sometimes up to 2-3 days) near the ground, but when they are not able to swim, it seems, the offspring has been born too early and will not survive.

I have had the same problem with some young female Allotoca,The fry stayed almost motionless for 2/3 days but eventually they were able to swim and grow normally
