Hi friends!
Just a few lines because they covered me here immediately with a lot of work:-(
First of all: My whole-hearted thanks to L'Aquaclub Trouville et l' Associacion France Vivipares, who have been great hosts for the GWG!!! It has been an event worth to remember, unifying more than 40 members out of 14 countries in one purpose. I've never seen so many Goodeids in one place - anyway we presented more than 50 tanks with Goodeids out of 25 species in one exhibition!! Tremendous:-))
Thanks to all who have been there and all who sent us their wishes for the meeting; the next organizer will have to do a great job to surpass this event...
To all who gave me fish: I brought them home all alive and they fed the first time; thanks to all these guys, thanks to the speakers Omar, Kees and Michi for coming and doing a wonderful job!
Cheers for now, Mike
One thing: Summary will come soon, will take me a few days:-)

This was a wonderful event. I enjoyed it very much. The organizers did a fantastic job. I can't imagine how much planning and work must have been involved. It was a long trip for me, but hearing any single one of the speakers or just seeing the different populations of rare goodeids present would have been worth the trip by themselves. I got the opportunity to meet and talk with people whom I have followed only in writing for years. Thank you again to the GWG and AFV for creating an amazing weekend.
